From spinning tracks at the age of 12 to lighting up dance floors across the Bay Area, DJ Kai is a true talent born into music. Mentored by his father—a seasoned professional and co-owner of Boog Fresh Entertainment—Kai cut his teeth DJing at iconic San Francisco venues like Lucky Strike and Jillian’s, learning early how to move crowds twice his age.
A multi-faceted artist, Kai is also a skilled hip-hop MC, producer, and musician with training in piano and saxophone. His versatility shines in every set, seamlessly blending Top 40, hip-hop, Latin, EDM, and throwbacks with expert transitions, crisp beat matching, and infectious energy.
Kai is currently a resident DJ at Sky Zone Fremont and has opened for hip-hop legends like Goodie Mob and The Pharcyde. But whether he’s rocking a wedding, nightclub, or private event, his mission stays the same: elevate the energy and keep the party alive.
Trained under Bay Area legends DJ Markeliot and KupKeyk Entertainment, Kai is fluent in Serato DJ Pro, Rekordbox, Virtual DJ, and Traktor, and handles sound setups and troubleshooting like a pro.
