DJ ASHLEY - Signature DJ
Ashley Good is the Signature DJ, owner, and creative force behind Fog City Entertainment and Gold Country Entertainment. With more than 20 years of experience as a DJ, emcee, broadcaster, and live event professional, she brings warmth, confidence, and a deeply intuitive understanding of music and guest energy to weddings, private celebrations, corporate events, and cultural gatherings across Northern California and beyond.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Ashley moved west with a microphone dream and began her California career on the airwaves, spending several years live on the air at Live 105 in San Francisco and 100.5 FM in Sacramento. Her radio background shaped the way she leads a room: articulate, composed, quick-thinking, and able to guide an event with presence and ease.
Ashley joined Fog City Entertainment in 2003, became owner in January 2020, and launched Gold Country Entertainment in 2023 to serve the Sacramento Valley, Gold Country, and Lake Tahoe regions. Today, she performs personally for select events while leading a broader collective of trusted DJs, musicians, production partners, and event professionals.
Her Signature DJ experience blends art and science. Ashley pairs musical intuition with research-informed preparation, using her understanding of psychology, timing, and human behavior to shape an event that feels personal, natural, and alive. From ceremony sound and announcements to dinner music and the dance floor, she designs the full arc of the celebration with intention.
Beyond entertainment, Ashley earned her B.Sc. in Biology from Stanford University, graduating with honors, and later published research in PLOS One. She also holds an M.Sc. in Psychology and serves as Research Director for a Silicon Valley autism nonprofit, with work published in Frontiers in Integrative Neuroscience.
When she is not behind the decks or deep in research, Ashley enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling, riding her motorcycle, and volunteering to help animals.
